Free tools for SEO, AI search and local visibility

Here you will find my free tools for SEO, AI search and local visibility. Simply enter the address of the website you want to check, and you will get a clear overview of what is working and where there may be room for improvement.

I have built the tools around the same principles I use when analysing websites for my clients. They cannot replace a complete SEO audit or individual advice, but they give you a fast, professionally grounded starting point.

You can use all the tools free of charge and without logging in. There are no hidden costs and no obligation to contact me afterwards.

Choose the right tool for your website

Not every website faces the same challenges, which is why the three tools examine different parts of your digital visibility. The SEO analysis gives you a broad overview of the page’s technical setup, content and metadata. The AI bot analysis checks whether technical barriers may make it difficult for AI bots to read the page, while the local SEO analysis looks more closely at the signals that help customers and search engines understand where your business is located and which area it serves.

You can choose the tool that best matches your current needs, or use all three for a more complete picture. Each tool has its own focus, but together they help you understand whether your website is accessible, clear and relevant to people, traditional search engines and AI-powered search services.

Free SEO analysis

The SEO analysis gives you an overall view of the SEO health of any publicly accessible page. You receive an SEO score and specific findings covering technical SEO, metadata, content, headings, links, images and structured data.

You can also enter a primary keyword and see whether it appears in the parts of the page where it typically matters most.

The SEO analysis is useful when you want to know:

  • whether Google can technically find and understand the page
  • whether the title tag and meta description are structured correctly
  • whether the content and headings have a clear structure
  • whether any images are missing alt text
  • whether the page contains internal and external links
  • whether structured data is present

Free AI bot access analysis

The AI bot analysis checks whether key AI bots can technically access and read your website. This matters because content blocked by robots.txt, noindex directives or other technical settings can be harder for AI-powered search services to find and use.

You receive an overall score and an overview of robots.txt, the sitemap, indexing directives, JavaScript dependency and access for named AI bots from OpenAI and Perplexity.

The analysis shows technical access. It cannot guarantee that your website will be displayed or cited in ChatGPT, Perplexity or other AI services.

The AI bot analysis is useful when you want to know:

  • whether AI bots appear to be able to access the page
  • whether robots.txt blocks specific bots
  • whether the page is marked noindex
  • whether the content can be read without JavaScript
  • whether the sitemap and other technical signals are available

Free local SEO analysis

The local SEO analysis helps you examine the signals that may affect your business’s visibility in local search.

The tool reviews publicly available information on the website and looks for contact details, local signals and technical elements that can help search engines understand who the business is and where it is located.

The local SEO analysis is particularly relevant for businesses that want to be found by customers in a specific geographical area.

Use it when you want to check:

  • whether the company’s contact details are clear
  • whether a phone number and address can be found on the page
  • whether the website sends clear local signals
  • whether relevant structured data is present
  • whether technical or content-related issues may affect local visibility

Which tool should you choose?

Choose the SEO analysis when you want a general overview of a page’s technical SEO, content and metadata.

Choose the AI bot analysis when you want to check whether AI bots can technically read the page and whether anything may be blocking their access.

Choose the local SEO analysis when your business serves a specific area and you want to improve your chances of being found in local search results.

You can also use all three. They examine different parts of your digital visibility and therefore give you a broader picture of the website when used together.

Get a clearer view of your digital visibility

The three free tools help you examine different parts of your website’s visibility:

  • the SEO analysis reviews technical SEO, content and metadata
  • the AI bot analysis checks technical access for AI bots
  • the local SEO analysis looks at signals that may affect local visibility

The results give you a practical place to start, whether you want to work on the improvements yourself or need help deciding what to prioritise.

If you receive a result you are unsure about, you are welcome to send it to me. We can then have a no-obligation conversation about what makes the most sense to work on next.

How to use the free tools

  1. Choose the tool that matches what you want to investigate.
  2. Enter the full URL of a publicly accessible page.
  3. Start the analysis and review the results and recommendations.

You do not need to own the website to analyse it, because the tools only examine information that is already publicly available.

I do, however, recommend that you always assess the result in the context of the page’s purpose. A recommendation that is important for a local business may not be equally important for an international online store or a purely informational website.

How to get the most from the results

Start with findings that may prevent search engines or AI bots from accessing and understanding the page. Examples include noindex directives, an incorrect canonical URL, a missing language code or blocks in robots.txt.

Then move on to content, metadata, links, images and structured data.

It can be useful to save the result and run the analysis again after making changes. This allows you to see whether the issues have been resolved and whether the overall score has changed.

A high score is not a goal in itself. What matters most is that the website is technically accessible, meets visitors’ needs and clearly explains what the business offers.

What automated analyses cannot tell you

Automated tools are good at identifying technical errors and clear patterns. However, they cannot fully assess:

  • whether the content persuades the right customers
  • whether the page matches the real search intent
  • whether your company’s positioning is clear
  • whether your most important keywords are the right ones
  • whether the website structure supports the customer journey
  • whether you are mentioned or cited in AI search
  • how your website performs compared with competitors

Use the analyses as a starting point rather than a final verdict.

Why I built the tools

I often meet businesses that want to work with SEO but do not know where to begin. Some have been told that their website has technical problems. Others can see that their traffic is not growing but do not know why.

That is why I built the tools as a simple first step.

You do not receive a long report filled with unexplained technical terms. Instead, you get specific findings that make it easier to understand what is working, what deserves a closer look and which improvements may be most important to address first.

Some people use the results to fix the most obvious issues themselves. Others use them as the basis for a more thorough SEO audit or a collaboration with me. Both approaches are completely fine.

The tools are still in beta

The tools are currently in a testing phase. On the first visit after a period of inactivity, it may take up to about one minute to start an analysis. Temporary service interruptions may also occur, and some analyses may not be completed.

I am continuously improving the analyses, the recommendations and the way the results are presented.

That why Vester Marketing should be your partner

I have worked with SEO, digital marketing and content for more than ten years, both for small businesses and in international organisations. This has taught me that the best solutions are rarely the most complicated. They need to fit the business, the target audience, the budget and the people who will continue working with them afterwards.

When you work with Vester Marketing, you work directly with me rather than a changing team. I explain my recommendations in language you can understand, and I give you honest advice about what matters now, what can wait, and what you probably do not need. My goal is not to sell you as many services as possible, but to help you make better decisions about your digital visibility.

I work with traditional SEO, local SEO, content, and AI search because these areas are increasingly connected. Your website still needs to be found in Google, but its content must also be clearly structured and trustworthy enough to be understood by AI-powered search services. You remain in control of your own accounts and data, and we always tailor the collaboration to the level of support you actually need.

No. The results provide a quick, automated overview. A complete SEO audit will typically also include keyword research, competitor analysis, traffic data, user behaviour, information architecture and a manual content assessment.

No. The analysis checks technical access. The fact that an AI bot can read the page does not automatically mean that the page will be used, cited, or shown in an AI-generated answer.

You can use the recommendations to investigate and fix the issue yourself. If you need help prioritising or implementing the changes, you can contact me and include the result.

Learn more about SEO, AI search and digital visibility

The tools give you a quick snapshot of your website, but they cannot stand alone. To better understand the results, you can read more about SEO and search engine optimisation, or get a more detailed explanation of what an SEO analysis and SEO audit normally include. This covers areas such as technical SEO, content, keywords, competitors and how to prioritise improvements.

If you are particularly interested in the latest developments in search, you can read about AI search and GEO, and how content can be made easier to understand and use in AI-generated answers. If your business mainly serves customers in a specific area, you can also learn more about Google Business Profile and local visibility.

You will find more guides and explanations in my library of marketing, SEO and AI knowledge.
