It covers two primary disciplines: SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), which focuses on organic visibility, and SEA (Search Engine Advertising), which covers paid advertising through platforms such as Google Ads. Many people confuse SEM with Google Ads alone, but that is a misconception. A strong SEM strategy uses data from both channels to make better decisions: which keywords convert best in paid campaigns, and which terms should be prioritised in the organic effort?
